Well I recovered from my drinking spree, crashed a motorbike yesterday and went for a run today, same route, suprisingly it hurt a bit less - though I went a lot faster so I was running for 1 hr 40 instead of about 2 hr 10 last time. Trying to keep up the training but it's not easy, too many videos to watch and hangovers to recover from
- edit - actually I missed out a bit of the run, which knocks it down to 19.5 km, guess that little bit shorter made all the difference, damn, I fell less of a sense of achievement

halfway
holy fuck i hurt......21 km today, the pain started around km 15 and just got worse, my knee, my hips and one ankle were not playing along as I ran. I'm still feeling it 8 pints later (early drinking session today) which does not bode well for tomorrow....I was just trying to keep up with Charlie for god's sake.....the pain.....the pain...

21km in your face phil
So Christmas eve... therefore the logical thing to do, run to the local nuclear power plant - Dungeoness B
http://www.gmap-pedometer.com/?r=2451811
21.03km in 1:59.45
My body is now in incredible pain.. i can hardly walk. my knees are in pain i hope it will be short term. So timewise i think the marathon target time must be 4hrs any less is not realistic.. we will see.

Yay! First run since illness
Ok so i did my first run since hank got me ill. Was a pleasent day in the UK, 12 celcius so more runner friendly than Innsbruck.
Anyway 7.7km route and a time of 40:50 not bad.. tomorrow i think a long run.... I am planning on going to Dungeoness B nuclear power station! what a destination.. should be about 16km.. or 20km to the actual plant and back. I'll keep you posted.
Oh and slight knee pain but nothing too bad, also somehow i've lost weight 93.5kg

Ah fuck, just wrote a post and lost it and the map of my run. Coño. Well I hurt, the training schedule said 70 min so I did 70 min - what's an extra 20 min between friends anyway? Well, it's 40 fucking percent extra time compared to my last long run, that's what it is - hence the severe pain in both my legs. Well, 12.5 km anyway, and every one counts towards the final. I lost the route, will do it again tomorrow, and update the healing progress. CHARLIE GO RUN YOU BASTARD!!

Shit, I should actually be training hard,
shit...I went for a quick 6km, feeling smug (because I know Charlie is on his fat ass) but then the smugness evaporated as I read the training plan I should be following this week - I mean who the hell runs 70 min on a tuesday night!?! I got home at 9 pm....this may be more difficult than I expected...the pressure is on, 82 days...

Oooh dear...
Well, thanks to Hank things are not looking good.
I can report that I did no training this weekend (unless snowboarding counts), I drank copious amounts (we have 26 large bottles of beer to go to the recycling) and I now have a horrific cold...
Gym tomorrow... lets hope it goes ok. Last week i went to the gym twice and i think my fitness level is visibly improving i hope Hank has not reversed this trend.

Back on the road!
Woo - back from a week off due to vicious man-flu, I did a nice gentle 6k yesterday, then a tougher 9.5 km today - I should remember running to the beach also involves running downhill. I started out, good music, enthusiastic to be running again, absoloutely flying downhill for 5 km - then turned around and thought fuck! But it was worth it in the end. I hoping to start running the route soon, so if I do I'll shove some photos up.
